Flowmaster 817568 Direct-Fit Exhaust System for Dodge RAM 1500 5.7L V8 Engine I have this one and it's an easy DIY install and just the right amount of sound, and the most pleasing type for my ears.
I had dual flowmaster installed on my last ram, which was a 2004 with 5.7 and it sounded great. It wasn't tru-dual, but it gave me the look and the sound that i wanted and on cost me about $500 to get done.
I have had supper 44, 40 series, borla xs pro and magnaflow 18'' and 14''inch mufflers on my 2012 ram r/t, went to a flowmaster 50 series hd with 5''inch exhaust tips.
I went the other way with the Flowmaster Super 40, a little quieter than the FlowFX and perfect for me. Has the deep rumble of the Hemi but not too loud to bother the neighbors unless you get on it in the driveway.
So right now I'm looking at either getting High Flow Cats, or just running no Cats. I'd like to know if there is any significant difference between no cat and high flows? Other than being legal and whatnot. Right now I have dual 2.5 inch pipe to a Flowmaster Super 10, then dual 2.5 out the...

I installed a Flowmaster Super 44 (relatively cheap swap). Huge difference (some good, some bad). At cold start under similar conditions I seem to be registering around 102-103 decibels (every 10 decibels is roughly double the volume) after a minute or two it settles down and idle reads around 75 decibels.
I had the flowmaster 40, and super 44 mufflers but now run a 50 series hd muffler and love it. No loss in power, if anything I gained more torque, and it's the only muffler specifically designed for the hemi motor. I recorded my best 1/4 mile time of 13.9 sec and my highest eta at 98.6 mph. It out performed all the other mufflers I have run.
I am thinking about purchasing the Flowmaster FlowFX cat back system for my 2017 sport. Anyone have any reviews or experience with this brand/model. Here...
